The original version of Trasdata already made tuning a lot easier and safer, but the New Trasdata adds far more to the already successful solution.
The most adored innovative features from the old version of the tool such as automatic identification of the plugin and very reliable backup are still here, but the new version adds JTAG communication. This is most often related to vehicles from Asia, but aside from that, JTAG is also used for numerous modern applications in the automotive field.
New Trasdata also adds far more to another Dimsport product, the New Genius. Some ECUs block tuning through OBDII via an anti-tuning feature. This prevents the revered New Genius from accessing these ECUs.
However, the New Trasdata provides a software patch that removes this block and unlocks the OBDII for New Genius.
This product allows reading and writing of the entire content of any ECU which opens up space for a large number of operations.
